Slice Global, Inc. complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Slice Global, Inc has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. When Slice Global, Inc. transfers personal information received under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf, it does so only for limited and specified purposes, it enters into a contract requiring the agent to provide at least the same level of protection as required by the EU-U.S. DPF Principles, and it remains responsible under the EU-U.S. DPF Principles if the agent processes such personal information in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless Slice Global, Inc. proves it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage. If you have any questions or complaints regarding Slice Global, Inc.’s compliance with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and to the rights of EU and UK individuals, please contact us at privacy@sliceglobal.com with “DPF Complaint” in the subject line. We will investigate and attempt to resolve complaints regarding our handling of personal information transferred to the United States in reliance on the DPF and will respond within 45 days (or sooner where required).
Independent Recourse Mechanism (Human Resources Data). In compliance with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, Slice Global Inc, commits to cooperate and comply with the advice of the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (“DPAs”) and the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (“ICO”) with regard to unresolved complaints concerning our handling of human resources data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF in the context of the employment relationship. This recourse is available free of charge to the affected individual.
Binding Arbitration. Under certain conditions, an individual may invoke binding arbitration to determine whether Slice Global, Inc. has violated its obligations under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) principles and, as applicable, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and whether any such violation remains fully or partially unremedied, in accordance with the procedures and conditions set forth in Annex I of the DPF Principles.
Note: Slice Global, Inc. is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Finally, please note that some of the abovementioned Personal Data will be used to detect, prevent, and prosecute fraud or other illegal activity, identify and repair errors, conduct audits, and for security purposes. Personal Data may also be used to comply with applicable laws, to conduct investigations by relevant authorities, for law enforcement purposes, and/or to exercise or defend legal claims. In some instances, we may anonymize or de-identify your Personal Data and further use it for internal and external purposes, including, without limitation, to improve services and for research. “Anonymous Information” means information that does not enable the identification of an individual user, such as aggregated information about the use of our services. We may use and/or disclose Anonymous Information to third parties without restriction (for example, to improve our services and enhance your experience with them).

We do not offer our products or services for use by children, and therefore, we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from and/or about children under the age of eighteen (18). If you are under eighteen (18), do not provide any Personal Data to us without the involvement of a parent or a guardian. For the GDPR, we do not intend to offer information society services directly to children. If we become aware that you provide Personal Data in violation of applicable privacy laws, we reserve the right to delete it.
