Slice and HiBob have partnered to connect workforce data with global equity management, automatically syncing people changes into compliant equity workflows.

Every time someone joins a company, relocates, or leaves, something happens to their equity. A grant needs to be issued. A jurisdiction needs to be applied. A termination triggers post-termination exercise calculations. A move to a new country changes the tax treatment entirely.
For most organizations, none of that happens automatically. HR owns the workforce data. Finance and Legal own the equity and compliance obligations. The two rarely talk to each other in real time — so equity teams find out about a country move or a termination days or weeks after the fact, usually from a spreadsheet update or a Slack message. By then, the compliance clock is already running.
We built the Slice + HiBob integration to close that gap.
HiBob is the source of truth for employee data — nationality, residency, country movements, employment type, compensation. Through the integration, that data flows directly into Slice, so equity decisions and compliance obligations are always based on current employee records, not last quarter's export.
This is where the integration does the real work. Employee lifecycle events in HiBob now kick off the right process in Slice, without anyone opening a second tool:
Teams can now create equity grants directly in HiBob's equity table. That data syncs to Slice automatically, where it's backed by Slice's compliance engine, tax logic, governance workflows, and cap table management across 60+ countries — all without a second system of record.
Employee equity isn't just a finance administration task anymore — it's a talent investment, and increasingly a governance issue that boards, auditors, and investors expect companies to have under control. When HR, Finance, and Legal are working from the same synchronized data, that's no longer a quarterly reconciliation project. It's a live picture.
For the CFO, that means fewer surprises before an audit or a raise. For General Counsel, it means a defensible, always-current compliance trail instead of a scramble before a board review. For HR, it means employees get accurate, timely communication about their equity - without HR having to become equity experts.
The integration is live now for joint Slice and HiBob customers. If your team manages equity across borders and HiBob already runs your people data, this is built for you.
As part of this partnership, Slice is HiBob's Preferred Equity Management Partner for organizations managing equity across borders.
